SICK Solution Hackathon 2024 will award
the three best teams with the most votes.
The voting consists of two groups awarding points:
- The expert jury onsite at the SICK Solution Hackathon location with all hack coaches and partners.
- The public voting from the livestream audience. These viewers can only vote if they have registered and are logged in and can give 3 votes in total. These votes can be given to a single team – or split it amongst multiple teams.
The weighting from both groups will be equal, each counting for 50% of the total scoring.
When voting for your favorite team you can judge each team by the following categories. These are the categories that also the expert jury is taking into consideration:
- Business case: Is there a real business case behind the idea?
- Industrial automation context: Is the solution fitting to the industrial automation context or can it be fitted into such a context easily?
- Desirable: Is there a demand from the industry for this solution?
- Feasible: Is it technically possibly and realistic in a "real" industrial environment?
- Viable: Is the solution affordable and sustainable from a financial point of view?
- Creative: How creative is the idea?
- Innovative: How is the level of innovation?
- Pitch quality: How was the pitch presented in terms of information, graphics, videos, hardware?
